หลังจากที่ได้เตรียม Fedora Core 10 เรียบร้อยแล้ว ต่อมาก็เตรียมการลง  Oracle 11g ได้เลย    เริ่มตามขั้นตอน ดังนี้

ให้ Log-on เป็น Root  ( su - root )

 1.  แก้ไข   /etc/sysctl.conf  เพิ่ม Parameter  ด้านล่างนี้ ต่อจากบรรทุดสุดท้าย

 2. แก้ไข  /etc/security/limits.conf

oracle soft nproc 2047
oracle hard nproc 16384
oracle soft nofile 1024
oracle hard nofile 65536

 3. แก้ไข  /etc/redhat-release โดยแทนที่  (Fedora release 10 (Cambridge)  ด้วย 

redhat release 5

 4. Install Package ที่จำเป็น 

yum install binutils
yum install glibc glibc-common libgcc libstdc++
yum install make
yum install elfutils-libelf elfutils-libelf-devel
yum install glibc-devel gcc gcc-c++ libstdc++-devel
yum install unixODBC unixODBC-devel
yum install libaio libaio-devel
yum install sysstat

 5. สร้าง Group และ User  ที่จำเป็นต้องใช้งาน

groupadd oinstall

groupadd dba

groupadd oper

useradd -g oinstall -G dba,oper oracle

passwd oracle

 6. สร้าง Directory สำหรับการติดตั้ง Oracle 

mkdir -p /u01/app/oracle/db11g

chown -R oracle:oinstall /u01
chmod -R 775 /u01

 7. ใช้ คำสั่ง  xhost + 

Log-on เป็น Oracle   (su - oracle )

 8. แก้ไข .bash_profile

  14.  หน้าจอ สำหรับ Oracle Check Parameter  ที่ต้องใช้   ถ้ามี error เกี่ยวกับ OS Package ให้ลองดู ว่า Install  Package ในข้อ 4 ครบแล้วหรือยัง ถ้าแน่ใจครบแล้ว     สามารถทำขั้นต่อได้เลย 

  15. หน้าจอ Database Option

  16. หน้าจอ Database Configuration

  17. หน้าจอ กำหนด SID

  18. กำหนดรายละเอียดของการ Config      

   19.  หน้าตจอกำหนด Storage

  20.  หน้าจอ Backup and Recovery Option 

  21.  หน้าจอ Oracle Manager Registration 

  22. หน้าจอ กำหนด Group 

  23. หน้าจอ Oracle Manager Registration   

  24.   หน้าจอ Summary 

   25.  เริ่มการติดตั้ง  

   26. ติดต้ังเรียบร้อย 

 เท่านี้ก็ติดตั้ง Oracle Database 11g  พร้อมสำหรับการใช้งานแล้วครับ  ไม่ยากนะครับ  ค่อยๆ ทำที่ขั้นตอนตามลำดับ
